Professional Scuba Schools Holds Member Update
As part of its commitment to enhancing the member and diver experience with Professional Scuba Schools Worldwide, an important member update was held on January 15, 2024. During the meeting exciting features, benefits, and improvements in PSS material and procedures were highlighted and discussed.
“PSS continues to experience unprecedented global growth,” said Giuseppe Minopoli
President, PSS Worldwide. “We know this is in large part due to our enhanced member support and dedicated customer service. We continue to evolve our products to meet our members needs and used the update as an opportunity to highlight our recent accomplishments and discuss future goals.”
A few of the highlights from the update included:
- No membership or certification material fee increases in more than five years, and none planned in the near future!
- Continued access to PSS EVO Diver Management System by Dive Centers at no annual cost (i.e., no dive center or dive club affiliation fees).
- Updated open water diver skills videos.
- Updated Nitrox and Scuba Rescue courses.
- Enhanced analytic functions in the EVO System for better marketing.
- Continuation of access to more than 17 basic and specialty courses and certification at no cost.

PSS has been training and developing divers and dive leaders around the world since the mid-1990s and has been growing rapidly in North America since 2019. It is renowned for providing flexible, innovative, cost effective, and collaborative training in more than 18 languages.

DEEP is an ocean technology and exploration company with a mission to ‘Make Humans Aquatic.’ DEEP’s undersea habitat and submersible systems, combined with multi-phased diver and human performance training, will create the next evolution of subsea science, research, and exploration capabilities. Dawn is a NASA-trained NEEMO Aquanaut, Explorer’s Club Fellow and Women Divers Hall of Fame Inductee and who is also tasked to establish DEEP’s first US presence in North Carolina.
