Earlier this year, Scubaverse.com was invited by Scuba Schools International (SSI) to attend Scuba University, a seminar and workshop designed to help those in the dive industry learn more about running a successful dive business.
Most people enter the industry by learning how to teach people to dive, but there’s additional skills needed to run a successful dive centre. Scuba university is designed to fill in those blanks. Doug Mcneese, one of the original presidents of SSI, had flown over from the US especially to run the course.
Over 30 dive centre owners, managers and staff attended the event, which took place at The Limes Country Lodge in Earlswood, Solihull. Here’s what some of them had to say about Scuba University in this exclusive video:
