blue o two teams up with Voodoo Divers to offer PADI Divemaster internship
UK-based dive tour operator blue o two have announced that they have teamed up with top rated Red Sea dive centre Voodoo Divers to offer the PADI Divemaster internship. Voodoo Divers is an established and well respected dive centre in Hurghada, offering the full range of PADI courses and dive trips.
This new PADI Divemaster internship will follow a similar principle to blue o two’s existing ‘Diving Work Experience Programme’. The new and unique programme gives divers the opportunity to learn the ropes of the diving industry through first-hand practical involvement. The internship will allow interns to gain experience at a high quality shore-based daily diving centre, in combination with the work experience offered by blue o two. Interns will have the opportunity to take the first step towards becoming a diving professional while furthering the development of their diving career.
blue o two’s Diving Work Experience Programme was designed to give keen divers the ability to come to the Red Sea and dive on board a blue o two liveaboard while gaining practical work experience in the diving industry. The latest collaboration with Voodoo divers is an exciting step forward for less experienced divers to be given the same opportunities to further their diving career.
The PADI Divemaster internships run from 10 to 12 weeks, and start at the beginning of every month.

Over the next 12 months, specialist scuba holiday company Dive Worldwide will be supporting Bite-Back Shark & Marine Conservation with donations collected from client bookings to any one of its stunning dive destinations around the world. The independently-owned operator expects to raise £3000 for the UK charity.
Manager at Dive Worldwide, Phil North, said: “We’re especially excited to work with Bite-Back and support its intelligent, creative and results-driven campaigns to end the UK trade in shark products and prompt a change in attitudes to the ocean’s most maligned inhabitant.”
Bite-Back is running campaigns to hold the media to account on the way it reports shark news along with a brand new nationwide education programme. Last year the charity was credited for spearheading a UK ban on the import and export of shark fins.
Campaign director at Bite-Back, Graham Buckingham, said: “We’re enormously grateful to Dive Worldwide for choosing to support Bite-Back. To launch the fundraising initiative, Phil North presented Graham Buckingham with a cheque for £1,000.
