Exciting new Yap diving combination packages now available

Could this be The Ultimate Micronesian Experience? Combine your dive liveaboard cruise in Philippines, Palau or Truk with diving in Yap and receive 10% off both! Siren Fleet and Master Liveaboards are excited to announce new diving combination packages in partnership with Manta Ray Bay Resort in Yap.
This tiny island in the Pacific is a tropical jewel, well hidden from the rest of the world. Resident mantas and a huge reef shark population give Yap its diving fame. It is a pristine paradise surrounded by clear blue water, exquisite coral gardens, channels, and reef walls that will awe even the most seasoned diver. Seize the opportunity while you are in the region to visit this exclusive diving treasure away from the crowds.
Macro lovers will be duly impressed by the variety of critters on display. Diving in Yap is fantastic all year round; the average air temperature is 27°C (80°F) whilst the water is a very comfortable 28°C (82°F). Visibility is generally very good and can get up to a stunning 50 metres (164ft).
Manta Ray Bay Resort, was built for divers by divers and offers 35 comfortable, well-appointed a/c rooms, each with a unique marine design. You can choose between three different room types: Standard, Ocean View, and Deluxe Ocean View. The in-house 5* PADI & SSI Platinum dive centre is fully equipped to meet all divers’ needs; nitrox, lockable camera bays, modern boats, and personal storage bays. Courses are on offer as well.

Scubaverse UWP Winners Gallery: Raffaele Livornese

Each month we give the winner of the Scubaverse Underwater Photography competition the opportunity to show off a little more of their work in a gallery. The January winner was Raffaele Livornese and you can see his winning image at the top of this page.
What do you love about diving & underwater photography?
I love the sensation of liberty when I’m diving and love so much uw photography because it permits me to report to all the people what they normally are unable to see. Often I love the interaction with some animals I’m shooting, they looks at me curiously, it seems they are trying to understand what I’m doing.
Where do you dive?
I dive normally in Italy on Sunday or when I’m free from work, but 2 times a year I travel with my wife, 1 time for macro photography and 1 time for wide-angle photography, so we look for the best destinations like Philippines, Indonesia and Baja California.
What equipment do you use?
I use a Nikon D850 full frame camera with a Hugyfot housing, Nikkor 60mm and 105mm macro lens, Sigma 15mm fisheye lens and a Nikkor 16-35 wide angle zoom lens. For the light I have 2 Inon Z330 strobes and an Orcatorch D910V focus light.
Where can our readers see more of your work?
