BSAC Diving Conference 2016 Workshops proving a hit
The expanded workshop programme at this year’s BSAC Diving Conference is proving to be a hit, with hundreds of conference goers snapping up places.
To be held on Saturday, 22 October, the conference has a total of 10 workshops incorporated into its packed and informative programme.
With safety and rescue skills through to the revised Ocean Diver course and a diving expedition workshop, it’s believed that responding to member feedback has resulted in a conference programme that’s really hitting the mark.
BSAC Marketing Manager and conference organiser Debbie Powell said: “Building on last year’s conference we’ve doubled the number of guest speakers and breakout sessions. We’re thrilled that the breakout sessions are proving so popular – it really is set to be a great day and we hope to see as many members there as possible.”
With some of the breakout sessions already full, the team organising the event is taking steps to increase capacities where they can. However, members are being urged not to delay buying tickets as organisers may not be able to increase capacities on all of the breakout sessions.
BSAC’s annual conference is open to all BSAC members and will take place on Saturday 22 October at the Birmingham NEC. Tickets are available at £25. In addition to the extensive speaker programme, conference tickets include access to the Dive Show all weekend, a mesh bag and post-event drinks session.
