Introducing Scout, the new fourth element dive mask
How we perceive the underwater world is largely determined by what we see, and the mask we use is therefore the most important piece of equipment for most, if not all, scuba divers.
Fourth Element’s lens system in the Scout Dive Mask is designed to deliver an optimised experience for different conditions when diving – whether for underwater photographers looking to maximise the light transmission or wreck divers needing to enhance their perception of dimly lit surroundings.
SCOUT FEATURES:
- Single lens frameless mask
- Ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving
- Angled profile to maximise field of view
- Soft silicon skirt for optimised comfort fit
- Easily interchangeable straps
- Classic fit
With its distinctive appearance, the SCOUT mask has been designed to maximise comfort and performance during a dive. The frameless soft silicon skirt seals comfortably against the skin and the angled lens gives the wearer an excellent field of vision.
BUILD YOUR MASK:
Building your Scout mask couldn’t be easier. Head to the SCOUT page on our website and use the lens guide to choose the right lens to suit your dives. Then, use the online mask builder to preview and select the skirt and strap that creates the style you love.
MASK STRAP:
The fourth element mask strap has been made using recycled materials wherever possible; the elasticated strap is made using rubber and recycled nylon; the clips are made using recycled waste ABS plastic from the automotive industry. The clips have been designed so that they will fit most mask buckles.
MASK CASE:
Designed to replace the busy, disposable plastic boxes that are supplied with so many masks. Low profile and protective, this case will protect the lens thanks to it’s cushioned half shell, without creating bulk, meaning it can fit in the foot pocket of most fins for convenient transport.

May the 4th be with you!
Oyster Diving have recently been given exclusive access to offer scuba diving courses and fun dives at Mercers Lake, a beautiful lake near M25/Gatwick in the UK.
Oyster have just launched their own dive boat ‘The Blue Pear’ to explore various parts of the lake. Divers can glide around the underwater woodland, see lots of fish and decent visibility. Out of the water divers set up in the purpose built kitting up area, unwind in a warm shower, and off-gas in the café & licensed bar.
To celebrate the start of the summer season, AquaSports and Oyster Diving have teamed up to host a Star Wars-themed open day on the 4th May.
Guests will be able to enjoy discounted tasters of various watersports including Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Canoeing and Sailing. Oyster Diving will be joined by Apeks and possibly other dive manufacturers to display their latest products. Demo gear will be available for qualified divers and Oyster’s sales support team will be on hand for customers with any questions.
Divers wishing to get in the water will need to book in via Oyster Diving’s website where you can also choose to hire any equipment. Non-divers and well behaved dogs are very welcome!
As well as the watersports there will also be music, food and a licensed bar. The fun starts at 10am and finishes around 4.30pm.
Please come along, wear your finest Stormtrooper or Princess Leia outfit and enjoy the fun!
