Euro Divers announce special Sidemount Weeks in Hurgada and El Quseir
Started as a necessary way for diving in the cave diving community sidemount diving becomes more and more popular also in the recreational diving community.
Why?
Many reasons have a positive effect to dive in sidemount configuration:
- More friendly to your back and neck muscles
- More streamlined
- Easier entry and exit from and to the water
- Perfect control over your valves in an emergency situation
But on the other side the handling is not so easy and quiet different from the standard back mount configurations. You need to know, how to set up your stages, how to configure the harness, then you have a lot of bungies, bolt snaps and hooks which must be stored somewhere and have a use.
Euro Divers have created a sidemount event where sidemount divers can get some more knowledge how to get the best configuration done for their system and also beginners can have a look into this new way for diving and just try it out. At the beginning it looks quiet difficult, but after some information and practice it is very easy to learn and has lots of possibilities.
Nowadays there is a great deal of sidemount equipment available. Therefore the team at Euro Divers will have a minimum of 3 different systems present which can be tried during your diving during the event.
