This 40 metre boat easily accommodates 26 guests in 13 well-appointed en-suite cabins, all with air-con. There are five lower deck cabins, each with double beds and a single too, as well as three double only cabins. On the main deck cabins you find three cabins with double beds and a single, and the same again on the upper deck. A supplement applies for main and upper deck cabins – please do ask your travel consultant at the time of booking about which cabin option would suit you best.
Maldives: Emperor Virgo from £1195 (excl. flights)
Pelagics a plenty await on this special itinerary. Focus on shark encounters as you dive the seasonal hot spots from a dhoni tender with an average of 17 dives (including one night dive).
Virgo sleeps just 18 divers over 30m, which has made her popular with those that prefer smaller groups on board. All diving is from the support dhoni. Cruise the heavenly atolls of Male and Ari without it costing the earth on a liveaboard dedicated to your diving satisfaction.
Maldives: New Carpe Diem Resort – Save up to £250
NEW for 2018: Stay at the action loving, Carpe Diem resort in Raa atoll for a Maldivian resort experience unlike any other – the perfect extension to your Carpe Fleet liveaboard or ideal for a dedicated resort holiday with like-minded adventure lovers. Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort provides you with the ultimate in dive convenience.
This is an exclusive resort. There are only 12 large, traditionally built private villas. No detail – no matter how small or seemingly insignificant – has been overlooked in the building of Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort. Comfy sofas, stunning, indoor en-suite bathrooms, a Krups coffee machine, high quality toiletries and free laundry service are just some of the perks that come as standard.
Red Sea: Movenpick Resort El Quseir
Nestled between sandy mountains and deepest blue seas, and just 87kms from Marsa Alam airport, is the 5 star Movenpick Resort El Quseir – a unique oasis of Egyptian charm and Swiss efficiency. Built in traditional Nubian style, this relaxed resort instantly makes you feel at peace. It’s the perfect destination for a laid-back, sun-drenched beach holiday for everyone.
Red Sea: Hurricane Shark Quest – £1095 incl. flights
Dive the famous Daedalus Reef, Brothers Islands, Rocky or Elphinstone. Shark Quest dives the southern Red Sea according to its seasonal best. The goal is to see more sharks and rays; you will dive fewer sites for longer for the most inspiring and exciting pelagic sightings possible, with at least two marine park visits during the trip.
Package includes return flights to Marsa Alam, 7 nights full board on Mistral – a steel hulled very stable liveaboard – and around 18 fully guided dives and free nitrox.
Sudan: Dive Sudan on Voyager – £1695 incl. flights
Hammerheads, the Umbria wreck and wall diving in the north of Sudan on board the luxurious Voyager. Departing from Port Sudan, you will spend 7 nights on board on a full board basis (twin share cabin).
Philippines: Malapascua – from £1295 incl. flights
The diving in Malapascua is most famous for its thresher sharks. With their wealth of experience, the Exotic Resort has an exceptional track record at getting the best sightings of these elusive and shy sharks. What a wonderful place for a getaway – enjoy a 7 night break in a deluxe room with full board, 10 dives and flights from the U.K.

Dive Worldwide Announces Bite-Back as its Charity of the Year
Over the next 12 months, specialist scuba holiday company Dive Worldwide will be supporting Bite-Back Shark & Marine Conservation with donations collected from client bookings to any one of its stunning dive destinations around the world. The independently-owned operator expects to raise £3000 for the UK charity.
Manager at Dive Worldwide, Phil North, said: “We’re especially excited to work with Bite-Back and support its intelligent, creative and results-driven campaigns to end the UK trade in shark products and prompt a change in attitudes to the ocean’s most maligned inhabitant.”
Bite-Back is running campaigns to hold the media to account on the way it reports shark news along with a brand new nationwide education programme. Last year the charity was credited for spearheading a UK ban on the import and export of shark fins.
Campaign director at Bite-Back, Graham Buckingham, said: “We’re enormously grateful to Dive Worldwide for choosing to support Bite-Back. The company’s commitment to conservation helps set it apart from other tour operators and we’re certain its clients admire and respect that policy. For us, the affiliation is huge and helps us look to the future with confidence we can deliver against key conservation programmes.”
To launch the fundraising initiative, Phil North presented Graham Buckingham with a cheque for £1,000.
Visit Dive Worldwide to discover its diverse range of international scuba adventures and visit Bite-Back to learn more about the charity’s campaigns.
