DAN Europe Officially Partners with Finnish Divers’ Federation
DAN (Divers Alert Network) Europe has announced the start of a brand new partnership with the Finnish Divers’ Federation. The collaboration entails a number of benefits for all Federation members, including a tailor-made insurance coverage, also valid for the Federation’s approved competitions, a customised member card with emergency contact numbers, and preferred rates on selected DAN products and services.
Insurance services, provided through VING Insurance Brokers Ltd, one of DAN’s subsidiaries, bear coverage for all underwater activities carried out by the Finnish Divers’ Federation, such as scuba diving, snorkel diving, freediving, fin-swimming, underwater rugby, spearfishing, underwater photography, and underwater orienteering.
“We started collaborating with the Finnish Divers’ Federation a few years ago, through first aid and risk mitigation programs”, said Laura Marroni, Vice President of DAN Europe. “We’re now happy to complete this partnership by offering the Finnish Divers’ Federation members an annual, convenient insurance cover that is just designed for them, with all the quality and reliability offered by the DAN brand”.

Bite-Back is running campaigns to hold the media to account on the way it reports shark news along with a brand new nationwide education programme. Last year the charity was credited for spearheading a UK ban on the import and export of shark fins.

To launch the fundraising initiative, Phil North presented Graham Buckingham with a cheque for £1,000.
