Dive Safari Asia Launches a New Tour
UK based travel company Dive Safari Asia have released their latest escorted tour which features two of Asia’s premier diving destinations – Anilao, in the Philippines, and the Pacific island nation of Palau.
The tour starts in Anilao which is known for outstanding critter spotting , colourful healthy reefs and pinnacles. Here the group will enjoy 6 days diving from a wonderful resort. The group then travels to Palau and boards a fantastic liveaboard for a week’s diving, encountering pelagics, sharks, mantas and more over unspoilt reefs and channels.
The first stop after meeting in Manila is Buceo. This sea side resort with 12 bungalows, set on a quiet beach in Anilao. Here the group will spend 6 nights at the sea side resort where each bungalow is air conditioned and has sea views from a private terrace. Meals are served at a water-side restaurant with beautiful sunset views and a fully stocked bar.
The resort is conveniently located with access to over 50 dive sites. Some of the most sought after critters frequent the area including flamboyant cuttlefish, several species of frogfish, seahorse and octopus, including the bluering. One can spot many types of crabs and shrimps, eels and reef fish living among the colourful coral in the area. There is something to suit all divers’ tastes – from world class muck diving, to beautiful reefs, a wreck and a cave, each dive should reveal something special.
The second part of the tour will be spent exploring the waters of Palau, enjoying some big fish diving from a luxurious liveaboard, The Solitude One. Widely known among divers for its clear turquoise water, proliferation of schooling fish, large pelagics, sharks and healthy reefs, this destination is truly spectacular. Above water the views are equally breath taking, with lush green jungle covered small islands creating stunning channels and dramatic scenery.
The boat offers luxurious air conditioned cabins, well thought out and spacious dive deck including a purpose designed camera room, an onboard Jacuzzi and spacious sunning area. Equipped with two solid-based skiffs, dive site drops offs and pickups are comfortable and easy.
This fully escorted tour starts from Manila and includes 14 nights accommodation, full board, 12 resort based dives and 4 daily dives from the liveaboard (incl. tanks, weights and guide) for £3395.00 per person based on twin/double share. ATOL protected international flights can be arranged by Dive Safari Asia from £500 per person. Domestic flights cost around £425.00 per person. Date of departure: 15 November 2017.
