Pro Dive Mexico’s Two Permanent Course Directors Repeatedly Achieve Platinum Status
Pro Dive Mexico have announced that both their Course Directors have been awarded the prestigious Platinum Status from PADI for their outstanding Instructor Development achievements during 2014; Angel Navarro Moya for his 8th consecutive year and Jo Armitage for the second consecutive year.
Pro Dive Mexico is the only PADI CDC center in Mexico and North America with two permanent Platinum Course Directors on staff, and the Platinum Award is the highest accolade awarded to only a few dozen Course Directors worldwide each year for their instructional achievements and commitment to professional-level educational excellence.
Husband and wife team Angel from Spain and Jo from the UK run PADI Instructor Development Programs in Spanish and English for Pro Dive Mexico in Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. They have a well-deserved reputation for providing high quality training with an emphasis on thoroughly preparing their candidates for careers in the scuba industry, which results in passing rates of their instructor candidates at their examinations that are second to none. Angel also runs Instructor training programs for Disabled Divers International and heads Pro Dive Mexico’s technical training team.
With annually 8 IDC´s involving more than 70 candidates, Jo and Angel always strive to provide their students the very best start to their diving careers, passing on many useful tips and knowledge referring to their own experience, which includes more than 3,000 certifications for Angel and 1,000+ for Jo in Mexico, Honduras, Galapagos, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Curacao and Europe.
“I’m delighted to have been awarded Platinum status for my 8th successive year. The Riviera Maya is fast becoming one of the principal destinations for professional-level training, thanks to its climate, location, sea-life and unique cenotes. I’m proud to say that Pro Dive Mexico leads the way thanks to our hard-working team who ensures we deliver quality, practical education which our candidates will go on to use in their diving jobs,” says Angel.
“I love my job and seeing our candidates go on to have successful careers in the dive industry is the best reward. Being awarded the status of Platinum Course Director once again is the icing on the cake!” states Jo. “Thanks to Pro Dive Mexico for making this possible.”
The next IDC with Jo & Angel is due to start on the 3rd June 2015 with four more scheduled before the end of the year, primarily held at Latin America’s leading instructor training facility featured by the coveted Hotel Occidental Allegro Playacar, located on one of the nicest white sandy beaches of the Riviera Maya.
Recently, Pro Dive Mexico has been recognized with the “Certificate of Excellence” for their achievements and quality of completed certifications in 2014 by PADI Americas and PADI Canada. All guides are certified Master Scuba Diver Trainers and are able to teach in several languages.
Everything under one roof, Pro Dive Mexico does not only provide top quality certification courses from beginner to professional level, but tailor-made world-class experiences, including dive packages, snorkeling safaris, unlimited free Nitrox, accommodation in coveted 4 and 5 star resorts along the Riviera Maya and in Cozumel at preferred rates, airport shuttles and combo options to explore the highlights of the Yucatan, such as Cenotes, Cozumel Marine Park, Bull Sharks, Wrecks, Whale Shark, as well as world heritage sites.
