RAID International Launches Spanish Language Website
RAID International has launched a Spanish language website containing several core diver educational programs. “The launch of the Spanish site along with the core online diver courses within heralds in earnest RAID’s development into both the European and South American regions as well as providing training opportunities for Spanish speaking RAIDers in the USA and of course, Mexico. This significant development is also very important for our RAID Dive Centres servicing the Spanish tourist market globally,” said Terry Cummins, Director of Business and Marketing for RAID International.
Cummins went on to say: “Our international team has worked tirelessly and done a great job on this one. Working directly with myself and RAID founder Barry Coleman, we brought together expertise from several different countries to blend the Spanish site into our already extensive online network. More translations of both our websites and online dive programs will follow very soon with the French website due later this month and German, Dutch, Arabic, Chinese and Korean to follow. We also have several other languages already in various stages of development to service the growing demand for RAID programs in the Asian market.”
RAID International CEO Jim Holliday said: “We re-launched RAID in April 2014 after the magnificent work Barry Coleman had done virtually sat under the dive industry radar for the previous seven years. Immediately on relaunch, especially with the extensive and highly experienced international team we put together, RAID really took the world diving community by storm with the most comprehensive online dive training product on the planet. Few could have predicted how much we would achieve in just the last year.”
Paul Toomer, RAID International’s Training Director reporting from TEKcamp said: “We could talk a lot about our many awesome achievements including our unique online quality assurance program and how it has set a new benchmark in management and control of diver training standards, but today we launched the Spanish website to join the English and Italian sites that have been operating for some time. So we should not lose site of the fact that this Spanish website launch is a major achievement in itself. The new Spanish site and those that will shortly follow will continue to join the dots on the world map where RAID is emerging as a cost effective, high quality alternative to what else is out there. Frankly, I am hearing that dive professionals all over the world are looking for the fresh approach we offer. So we believe at RAID you will see us continue to gain momentum as the training agency of choice.”

Dive Worldwide Announces Bite-Back as its Charity of the Year
Over the next 12 months, specialist scuba holiday company Dive Worldwide will be supporting Bite-Back Shark & Marine Conservation with donations collected from client bookings to any one of its stunning dive destinations around the world. The independently-owned operator expects to raise £3000 for the UK charity.
Manager at Dive Worldwide, Phil North, said: “We’re especially excited to work with Bite-Back and support its intelligent, creative and results-driven campaigns to end the UK trade in shark products and prompt a change in attitudes to the ocean’s most maligned inhabitant.”
Bite-Back is running campaigns to hold the media to account on the way it reports shark news along with a brand new nationwide education programme. Last year the charity was credited for spearheading a UK ban on the import and export of shark fins.
Campaign director at Bite-Back, Graham Buckingham, said: “We’re enormously grateful to Dive Worldwide for choosing to support Bite-Back. The company’s commitment to conservation helps set it apart from other tour operators and we’re certain its clients admire and respect that policy. For us, the affiliation is huge and helps us look to the future with confidence we can deliver against key conservation programmes.”
To launch the fundraising initiative, Phil North presented Graham Buckingham with a cheque for £1,000.
Visit Dive Worldwide to discover its diverse range of international scuba adventures and visit Bite-Back to learn more about the charity’s campaigns.
