Enter your club’s BSAC expedition for the Duke of Edinburgh prize

Duke of Edinburgh PrizeHas your BSAC club recently organised an adventurous science or research-based expedition that could inspire others? Then the British Sub Aqua Jubilee Trust would like to hear from you.

The Trust is currently looking for applications for the annual Duke of Edinburgh Prize, awarded for the best underwater scientific project carried out by BSAC members, in recognition of their work exploring, surveying and researching marine and wreck sites.

Previous winners of the prestigious award include Southsea SAC (pictured) for their Mulberry 70 project, ASADA and their Jurassic Shark tagging initiative and Bigbury Bay Archaeology.

The award is presented each year by former BSAC President, HRH, The Duke of Edinburgh at a special ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
