17 years, PADI MSDT instructor. CC Diver to 80m.
What is your favorite type of diving?
Wreck and big fish.
If you could tell people one thing about your business (or maybe more!) to make them want to visit you what would it be?
We are Ireland’s largest dive centre, with a swimming pool all under one roof. For recreational divers, we have wrecks and reefs diving with 25M vis.
For Technical divers, we also have the largest amount of World War wrecks in Europe.
What is your favourite dive in your location and why?
Recreational Tory Island reefs and swim throughs with 30M visibility at 30M.
What types of diving are available in your location?
Wrecks, swim throughs, gullies and reefs.
What do you find most rewarding about your current role?
Meeting divers from all over the world.
What is your favourite underwater creature?
As a centre what is the biggest problem you face now?
Rising costs and travel costs.
Is your centre involved in any environmental work?
How do you see the SCUBA / Freediving / snorkelling industry overall? What changes would you make?
Selling of dive equipment on the internet will close all dive shops.
What would you say to our visitors to promote the diving you have to offer?
Tell everyone what dives you have done in Donegal and what a wonderful place we have here!
