Description: Three lockdowns means I have only managed about 20 dives this year. Some of my best were at Capernwray Dive Centre, an inland site in the north of England. I had heard it was full of big sturgeon. I've never seen these fish and wanted a close encounter and, after an eight-hour round trip, managed four dives. The visibility was good and the fish plentiful. On the last dive, we took some fish food in the water and were soon mobbed by hungry trout with the sturgeon appearing later.
The underwater shots were taken on a GoPro Hero 7 with Black Star lights and topside was filmed with a Panasonic G7K.
