Along the eastern border of Finland runs a river that once ran an industrial hydro electric power plant made of wood.
Built in 1900 it supplied electricity to the wood industry.
It was partly demolished 1928 and left to rot underwater.
It´s a fascinating piece of history and a surreal scenery for scuba divers. After dozens, even hundreds of dives it always amazes with it´s surreal, post apocalyptic sight.
It hosts animal life as well...
