Drysuit specialist manufacturer Northern Diver has launched a new Base Layer undersuit and Drysox.
The Northern Diver two piece technical Base Layer is designed to ensure you stay comfortable in even the most demanding conditions, and it can be worn under any drysuit, as well as most undersuits (for when diving in very cold conditions).
The sleek, low profile suit has outstanding moisture wicking properties, keeping your body temperature regulated. In warmer climates the Base Layer’s fabric draws perspiration away from the skin’s surface, keeping you dry and comfortable. In cooler climates, these moisture wicking properties help maintain skin temperature – keeping you warmer for longer.
Northern Diver’s Drysox are moisture-wicking, breathable and 100% waterproof socks, designed with a tri-layer fabric for top performance. The socks are mid-length and perfect for countless applications in wet conditions, where it’s essential to keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable. Sizes catered for range from UK 4-12.
The fabric spec for the Drysox is as follows:
- Outer shell: 95% abrasion resistant nylon, 3% elastane, 2% spandex
- Interlining: Waterproof, breathable membrane
- Inner lining: 38% Coolmax, 38% cotton, 20% nylon, 4% spandex
Northern Diver has been established for over 40 years and the team designs and manufactures a diverse range of drysuits, diving equipment and other equipment for use in, on and around water – for sport, military, commercial and rescue applications around the world. Find out more at www.ndiver.com.
