Land Based Dive Safari Features Highlights of Indonesia’s Marine Realm

UK based dive travel specialists Dive Safari Asia have created a group tour which highlights the rich diversity of marine life found within the archipelago of Indonesia. The 14 night safari includes 28 dives spread throughout the eastern coastline of Bali and the northern regions of Komodo National Park.
Highlights of the tour include the opportunity to dive with large numbers of manta rays at a site called Manta Point, experience the pristine reefs of Batu Bulong and get face to face with legendary Komodo Dragons, all of which can be found in Komodo National Park. Whilst off the east coast of Bali there are critter infested black sand slopes and the 120 long Liberty Wreck now covered in soft corals plus spectacular underwater topography.
Accommodation en route includes the newly built Komodo Resort which is located on a private island in the heart of the national park and offers stunning vistas to neighbouring islands with white sand beaches and pristine diving close by. The theme continues with the family operated Dtunjung Resort on Bali.
Land tours include trekking on Rinca Island, wildlife encounters and cultural tours including traditional markets and monuments and rice paddy terraces throughout provincial Bali.
Tour leaders Ben Stokes and Sarah Kemsley carefully selected a number of specific dive sites to feature in the tour following over 10 years and thousands of dives throughout the region.
Dive Safari Asia is a UK based company founded in 2008. Ben and Sarah spent 8 years working in various locations around the world as instructors and dive guides before returning to the UK to create their own brand of dive holidays which includes a number of exclusive tours through remote areas of Indonesia.
The Bali & Komodo Safari runs from 19th September – 5th October 2014 and includes 14 nights accommodation with full board, 28 dives with tanks, weights and guide, land tours in Bali and Komodo, all internal transfers and connections and is fully guided by an experienced tour leader. The price is £2,195.00 on a twin/double share basis. ATOL protected international flights can be arranged by Dive Safari Asia starting at £650.00 per person.
