Goddess Garden Organics Debuts
Goddess Garden Organics have debuted their new brand packaging on shelves in retail channels across the US.
All Goddess Garden sunscreen products are 100% natural, biodegradable, reef safe and use naturally occurring minerals that wash off safely and settle back into the earth without causing harm to the planet. Among the 20 SKUs in the Goddess Garden Organics Classic and Sport lines is the new natural, non-aerosol Sport and Kids Sport Continuous Spray 3.4-ounce travel sizes, which are perfect to take along in your bag.
“Natural sunscreens have always been the better choice, but now we know it is even more important to avoid chemical sunscreens in light of recent research indicating that Oxybenzone, a harmful chemical used in many conventional sunscreens, is absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Oxybenzone has been associated with an increased risk of hormone disruption and closely tied to endometriosis and fertility problems in both adults and children,” says Nova Covington, Founder and CEO of Goddess Garden Organics.
“Our mission at Goddess Garden is to educate consumers about the benefits of natural mineral-based sunscreens, which are safe for people and the planet,” continues Covington. “All Goddess Garden sunscreens are designed for people who love the great outdoors and want peace of mind that they and their families are well protected while enjoying the sun.”
Goddess Garden sunscreen products protect the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays without the chemicals used in traditional sunscreens, making it one of the safest natural sunscreens on the market today. Each product is sheer, non-greasy, absorbs quickly, and offers the highest percentage of organic ingredients available in any sunscreen product on the market.
The Roots of Goddess Garden Organics
Goddess Garden Organics was founded by husband and wife team Nova Covington and Paul Halter after their daughter had a serious reaction to conventional skin care products. Nova, with an herbalist background and Paul with a nutrition science degree, were inspired to develop safe skincare solutions using the pure minerals of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as the active ingredients for sun protection. Goddess Garden is the fastest growing mineral based sunscreen on the market today. The full Goddess Garden line is carried in nearly 8000 stores including Whole Foods, Target, Wegmans, REI, CVS, Sprouts Farmers Market, Meijer, Fred Meyer and many other natural retailers throughout the US and Canada.

Leading UK-based shark conservation charity, the Shark Trust, is delighted to announce tour operator Diverse Travel as a Corporate Patron
Corporate Patrons provide a valuable boost to the work of The Shark Trust. The Trust team works globally to safeguard the future of sharks, and their close cousins, the skates and rays, engaging with a global network of scientists, policymakers, conservation professionals, businesses and supporters to further shark conservation.
Specialist tour operator Diverse Travel has operated since 2014 and is committed to offering its guests high quality, sustainable scuba diving holidays worldwide. Working together with the Shark Trust will enable both organisations to widen engagement and encourage divers and snorkellers to actively get involved in shark conservation.
“Sharks are truly at the heart of every diver and at Diverse Travel, we absolutely share that passion. There is nothing like seeing a shark in the wild – it’s a moment that stays with you forever!” says Holly Bredin, Sales & Marketing Manager, Diverse Travel.
“We’re delighted to celebrate our 10th year of business by becoming a Corporate Patron of the Shark Trust. This is an exciting partnership for Diverse and our guests. We will be donating on behalf of every person who books a holiday with us to contribute towards their vital shark conservation initiatives around the world. We will also be working together with the Trust to inspire divers, snorkellers and other travellers to take an active role – at home and abroad – in citizen science projects and other activities.”
Paul Cox, CEO of The Shark Trust, said:
“It’s an exciting partnership and we’re thrilled to be working with Diverse Travel to enable more divers and travellers to get involved with sharks and shark conservation. Sharks face considerable conservation challenges but, through collaboration and collective action, we can secure a brighter future for sharks and their ocean home. This new partnership takes us one more valuable step towards that goal.”
