Explorer Ventures Fleet Welcomes Glory Sea Explorer: A Luxurious Liveaboard Dive Vessel for Discerning Divers (Watch Video)
Explorer Ventures Fleet®, in partnership with Sea Serpent Fleet, has announced the latest addition to its esteemed fleet, the MV Glory Sea Explorer, joining her sister ship, Grand Sea Explorer in the Egyptian Red Sea. Designed with the diver in mind, this liveaboard vessel offers relaxed luxury and speed between dive sites, which pairs perfectly with the unforgettable underwater experiences in the Red Sea.
At an impressive 40 meters (131 feet) in length, the MV Glory Sea Explorer is a masterpiece of comfort, style, and functionality. With a total of four decks, including a fly deck, this spectacular vessel provides ample space for relaxation during surface intervals. The vessel boasts 13 modern staterooms – 1 very large suite, 4 double/twin cabins on the upper deck, and 8 twin cabins on the lower deck. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, stereos, personal fridges, safes, and en-suite bathrooms with showers. The vessel also features an extensive main deck salon with a separate dining area, providing a welcoming space for unwinding between dives.
The MV Glory Sea Explorer offers a stable and smooth cruising experience. Divers will also enjoy the expansive dive deck at water level, featuring individual racks allowing plenty of space, even with a full vessel. The Glory Sea Explorer is designed to accommodate 22-26 divers, with the option for a full private charter requiring only 22 divers.
During surface intervals, divers have the opportunity to unwind on the covered sun decks, enjoy movies or music on the latest entertainment systems, or stay connected with free WIFI. The MV Glory Sea Explorer is fully licensed to cruise the entire Egyptian Red Sea, offering multiple itineraries for exploration. As an added bonus, certified divers will receive free Nitrox for their trip, enhancing the overall diving experience.
“We are thrilled to introduce the MV Glory Sea Explorer to the Explorer Ventures Fleet,” said Clay McCardell, President of Explorer Ventures Fleet. “This vessel joins her sister ship, Grand Sea Explorer, setting the highest standard for luxury liveaboard diving in the Red Sea, combining state-of-the-art facilities with exceptional service. It caters to the needs of divers who seek both comfort and adventure.”

Dive Worldwide Announces Bite-Back as its Charity of the Year
Over the next 12 months, specialist scuba holiday company Dive Worldwide will be supporting Bite-Back Shark & Marine Conservation with donations collected from client bookings to any one of its stunning dive destinations around the world. The independently-owned operator expects to raise £3000 for the UK charity.
Manager at Dive Worldwide, Phil North, said: “We’re especially excited to work with Bite-Back and support its intelligent, creative and results-driven campaigns to end the UK trade in shark products and prompt a change in attitudes to the ocean’s most maligned inhabitant.”
Bite-Back is running campaigns to hold the media to account on the way it reports shark news along with a brand new nationwide education programme. Last year the charity was credited for spearheading a UK ban on the import and export of shark fins.
Campaign director at Bite-Back, Graham Buckingham, said: “We’re enormously grateful to Dive Worldwide for choosing to support Bite-Back. The company’s commitment to conservation helps set it apart from other tour operators and we’re certain its clients admire and respect that policy. For us, the affiliation is huge and helps us look to the future with confidence we can deliver against key conservation programmes.”
To launch the fundraising initiative, Phil North presented Graham Buckingham with a cheque for £1,000.
Visit Dive Worldwide to discover its diverse range of international scuba adventures and visit Bite-Back to learn more about the charity’s campaigns.
