Emperor Divers announce the return of free Red Sea and Maldives Photo Workshops with Jordi Chias
Following their highly successful free photo workshop trips in 2016, Emperor Divers is now offering them in both the Red Sea and the Maldives.
Highly acclaimed photographer, Jordi Chias, will once again be sharing his vast experience and the workshops, once again, are free!
In the Maldives, dates are 3 – 10 December 2017 on Emperor Orion and sailing the Best of Maldives. Or choose Emperor Serenity from 10 – 17 December 2017 for the same route. Prices start from €1869 / £1607 / $1982.
In the Red Sea there are two trips on Emperor Elite sailing Simply the Best on 3 – 10 November or 10 – 17 November, 2017. Prices start from £903 / €1049 / $1112.
Jordi will be onboard offering a free mini Photography Workshop for guests who would like to improve their underwater and general photography and make the most of his 16 years of experience.
With work published in many different media and recognized with prominent mentions, among them the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Jordi has a wealth of knowledge that guests can tap into during the week.
Jordi is also one of the most internationally awarded Spanish photographers, who also speaks fluent English. During the trip he will give daily talks, reviews and comments on guests’ images in order to improve results. He will also share techniques to help with computer picture processing at basic level.
Guests must bring their own cameras. Also, although not a speciality, Jordi can help improve video skills.

Over the next 12 months, specialist scuba holiday company Dive Worldwide will be supporting Bite-Back Shark & Marine Conservation with donations collected from client bookings to any one of its stunning dive destinations around the world. The independently-owned operator expects to raise £3000 for the UK charity.
Manager at Dive Worldwide, Phil North, said: “We’re especially excited to work with Bite-Back and support its intelligent, creative and results-driven campaigns to end the UK trade in shark products and prompt a change in attitudes to the ocean’s most maligned inhabitant.”
Bite-Back is running campaigns to hold the media to account on the way it reports shark news along with a brand new nationwide education programme. Last year the charity was credited for spearheading a UK ban on the import and export of shark fins.
