Emperor appointed to manage diving for InterContinental Hotels, Marsa Alam
InterContinental Hotels has appointed Emperor Divers to manage the diving operations in their hotels in Port Ghalib; the Palace Port Ghalib, the Crown Plaza Resort and, the divers’ favourite, the Marina Lodge with its onsite rinse facilities and storage.
Luke Atkinson, Emperor’s Area Manager for Marsa Alam, explained, “We now have the most convenient set up available in Port Ghalib, which makes access to our boats even easier. As well as day diving, guests can enjoy single house reef dives at the Palace and Crown Plaza. This is a welcome service especially for a diver on holiday with family who doesn’t want to be out on a boat all day. We’ll still be offering our unlimited house reef diving at the Moreen Beach hotel, so all in all we have the area covered, literally.”
Benefits to divers visiting the area are:
- The only dive centre operating its own boats inside Port Ghalib
- The only centre with boats on site at Marina Lodge, therefore the only ones able to offer ‘zero transfer’ diving from Port Ghalib
- Marina Lodge guests have equipment rinse, store facilities, boats on site and the ultimate convenience
- Morning and afternoon guided house reef dives from Port Ghalib Palace Hotel House Reef. Three different dives possible thanks to two entry points
Emperor provides transfers from Marsa Alam Airport to hotels in Marsa Alam. For more flight choice, Friday arrivals into Hurghada can take advantage of Emperor’s Free Ride Friday with free transfers to Marsa Alam.
