Divesoft introduces new Optical Display Adapter
A new piece of diving equipment, developed and unveiled by market-leading company, Divesoft, was released at the end of June 2021, and is equipped to become you and your CCR Liberty’s newest best friend. The ODA, Optical Display Adapter, provides its users with a constant overview of the most important CCR diving data, such as information on setpoint, depth, time, decompression, and ascent rate.
Adjustable and lightweight
A full-color 428 × 240 pixel display shows the most important data for a CCR: the current loop ppO2. Furthermore, the ODA, weighing only 150g, has a built-in tilt compensated compass, which helps determine the direction you are swimming. Many parts of the ODA are adjustable, making it a highly customizable piece of equipment: you can adjust the focus of the optics to your eyesight, and the mount is also adjustable to even withstand riding a scooter.
Stay focused and charged
The ODA is connected via an ultra durable and flexible cable. Moreover, for user’s convenience, charging is not necessary as it is powered by the CCR Liberty. As for the display, the system automatically assesses the conditions and adjusts brightness based on the amount of ambient light. The high-quality sapphire glass features anti-reflective coating which ensures a clear view of the display without glare. The optical features allow simultaneous monitoring of the display and the ambient environment as the optics enlarges the miniature display.
Keeps you safe
Last but not least, a key property of the ODA is that it keeps you safe by quick warning with red flashes in case safety values are exceeded. At the same time, your diving partner is warned by the front buddy display, so you can be assisted immediately in the event of an emergency.
More details
The ODA is only compatible with Liberty 2021 Edition. More details are available on the Divesoft website under the Optical Display Adapter or you can contact Divesoft support directly via email info@divesoft.com.
