Dive Training Organisation S.C.U.B.A. Elects New Board Of Directors

Almost two years after being founded, S.C.U.B.A. AG, a dive training organization based in Switzerland with strong ties in the international diving community, has completed its development phase.
A complete set of student books from beginner through professional has been published and translated into different languages. S.C.U.B.A. AG’s online support system for diving instructors has been programmed and filled with exam questions, presentation slides and other support materials for teaching. With its completion, S.C.U.B.A. AG is now moving to the market introduction phase, and a new board of Directors has been elected to drive the organisation forward.
Pat Hermse has a degree in economics, is a chartered accountant and has long-time management experience in banking. His knowledge and skills will be used to assure the financial health of S.C.U.B.A.
Patent attorney Irmgard Tschischkale will be instrumental for protecting the intellectual property of S.C.U.B.A. AG.
Stefan Gerber is a practicing lawyer who specializes in sports and corporate law. Stefan will be responsible for compliance issues and avoiding legal disputes.
Jan Oldenhuizing will be on the board to serve as a link to the operational team. He has a degree in environmental sciences, and has also conducted the training for more than 3000 instructor level certifications. His vast knowledge of diver training issues, both from a theoretical and practical point of view, make his know-how indispensable for S.C.U.B.A. AG. Jan will train and lead the operational team and will personally handle standard changes, quality control and the development of new educational materials.
Jan Oldenhuizing commented: “We are thrilled about the enormous competences that are grouped in this new board of directors. It allows us to concentrate fully on the development of S.C.U.B.A. AG from a diving and educational point of view. Knowing that legal and financial matters are well looked after allows us to move forward with full confidence.”
