BSAC welcomes its newest club, BSAC Phuket

BSAC has welcomed its newest branch in Thailand – BSAC Phuket Scuba Diving Club.

Set up earlier this year by a group of expats, BSAC Phuket Scuba Diving Club can also offer travelling or holiday divers the chance to dive Thailand as well as assist in training, from Ocean Diver through to Advanced Diver and, with a National Instructor in their ranks, instructor training.

The club has already completed an Instructor Crossover…former Selby BSAC member Michael Taylor who qualified as a PADI Divemaster Instuctor in Thailand and is now dual trained as a BSAC OWI.

Recently BSAC Phuket was contacted by Basildon BSAC who asked them for some help with training for one their members, 15-year-old Reggie Steadfast. While holidaying in Thailand, Reggie got the chance to complete his Ocean Diver qualifying dives at Phi Phi Islands with BSAC Phuket – in the company of octopus, turtles and leopard sharks no less!

BSAC Phuket would like to welcome more BSAC divers who are holidaying in Thailand so if you’re heading that way, get in touch.

For more information, email bsacphuket@gmail.com.
