Garmin and Fusion have announced they will again be exhibiting their extensive range of products at the Southampton International Boat Show in its 53rd year of running. Taking place from 16-25th of September at Mayflower Park, Southampton, visitors can experience the latest Garmin and Fusion products and deals, including the premium Signature 3i Fusion Speakers, quatix 7 smartwatches and more.
Visitors can get to grips with the newly introduced Garmin Navionics Plus cartography, which deliver all-in-one inland and coastal mapping, daily chart updates and premium content to compatible chartplotters. Offering a full suite of detail-rich mapping, Garmin Navonics Plus is an indispensable tool for mariners.
Newly launched, the premium Fusion Signature 3i Speakers expand and improve on the existing Fusion line-up. The updated range features stylish new colourways for an elegant fit on any boat. The Fusion stand will feature a full complement of audio products and visitors can test and receive support on integrating these systems onto their own boats.
The quatix 7 series of premium smart watches are designed for life on the water. The top-of-the-range Sapphire models add an always-on AMOLED display for sharper colour, clarity and brightness whilst maintaining top-end battery life. Also featuring coastal charts, autopilot control and key environmental data, quatix 7 is the perfect smartwatch for life on the ocean.
Also on display will be the LiveScope + and LiveScope XR. Featuring 35% target separation over previous systems, LiveScope + enhances the fishing experience with sharper resolution, reduced noise and Garmin’s clearest imagery to date. Alongside this, the ECHOMAPS UHD2 chartplotter series will also be available to demo. Featuring a sunlight readable display, physical buttons for ease of control and built in Wi-Fi alongside all-new hardware, these chartplotters offer everything a mariner could want for a successful outing on the water.

May the 4th be with you!
Oyster Diving have recently been given exclusive access to offer scuba diving courses and fun dives at Mercers Lake, a beautiful lake near M25/Gatwick in the UK.
Oyster have just launched their own dive boat ‘The Blue Pear’ to explore various parts of the lake. Divers can glide around the underwater woodland, see lots of fish and decent visibility. Out of the water divers set up in the purpose built kitting up area, unwind in a warm shower, and off-gas in the café & licensed bar.
To celebrate the start of the summer season, AquaSports and Oyster Diving have teamed up to host a Star Wars-themed open day on the 4th May.
Guests will be able to enjoy discounted tasters of various watersports including Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Canoeing and Sailing. Oyster Diving will be joined by Apeks and possibly other dive manufacturers to display their latest products. Demo gear will be available for qualified divers and Oyster’s sales support team will be on hand for customers with any questions.
Divers wishing to get in the water will need to book in via Oyster Diving’s website where you can also choose to hire any equipment. Non-divers and well behaved dogs are very welcome!
As well as the watersports there will also be music, food and a licensed bar. The fun starts at 10am and finishes around 4.30pm.
Please come along, wear your finest Stormtrooper or Princess Leia outfit and enjoy the fun!
