The team also talk to the most interesting people in the dive world, from world-famous underwater pioneers to fearless modern explorers.
“Honorees like the DeeperBlue Podcast are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said Claire Graves, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the nearly 13,500 entries we received this year.”
Founder of DeeperBlue.com and Host of the DeeperBlue Podcast Stephan Whelan exclaimed: “It’s an incredible privilege to have been selected as an honoree by the Webby Awards. As a small, independent publisher competing against large internationally known brands, it’s truly fantastic to see our podcast honored at this level. I’m incredibly proud of the team behind the podcast including Jason Elias our producer and co-hosts Linden Wolbert, Mehgan Heany-Grier, Sarah Richard and Tec Clark – all of whom have made this an amazing and fun journey – as well as the community of divers and ocean lovers that have helped make the DeeperBlue Podcast such a success. We can’t wait to see where the next season takes us.”
