Help refugees this weekend with Crusader Travel
UK-based tour operator Crusader Travel need help to fill an aeroplane bound for the the Greek Island of Samos with much needed supplies for refugees.
Although the flight does not depart until the 1st October, the supplies are needed at Crusader Travel in Twickenham no later than this coming Saturday the 26th September.
The following supplies are needed:
- Tins of biscuits
- Baby milk and biscuits
- Nappies
- Baby wipes
- Sanitary towels
- Good quality new fleeces and new tracksuit bottoms for women, men and children
- Portable tents
- Sleeping bags still in their portable bags
- Blankets that can be easily rolled and carried
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Basic medicines for sunburn and headaches
- Good quality men’s trainers, sizes 41-46 (please tie these together and mark the size clearly)
- Good quality women’s trainers, 36-42 (please tie these together and mark the size clearly)
- Good quality children’s trainers (please tie these together and mark the size clearly)
- New packs of socks (men’s, women’s and children’s)
- Good quality medium-sized rucksacks
- Men’s Women’s, Children’s NEW underwear
- Waterproof Ponchos (the kind you buy in Poundland)
- All-in-one shampoo and shower gel
All donations should be sent to 57-58 Church Street, Twickenham, TW1 3NR.
If you do wish to donate, please keep strictly to the list – The Crusader Travel team only have the day on Sunday 27th September to sort through anything. If you are available on the 17th and would like to help with the sorting, let the Crusader Travel team know by calling +44 (0)208 744 0474.
