Steve Martin Launches New Sidemount Diving Training Videos Online
Steve Martin, one of the world’s leading sidemount diving instructors (and Scubaverse’s resident sidemount expert), has launched a new series of online training videos.
The series currently consists of five parts:
- Video 1 – Cylinder Workshop Configuration
- Video 2 – Regulator Workshops Training
- Video 3 – Harness & BCD Workshop Training
- Video 4 – Sidemount Essentials – Tips & Tricks
- Video 5 – Stage/Deco Cylinder Workshop Training
There is a whopping 6.5 hours of content split across the five videos.
All five videos are available to purchase now from Steve’s website and include English subtitles. Subtitles in another 16 languages will be available by the 28th July with more to follow in the coming weeks.
A sixth video featuring Steve doing an instructor role model demonstration for all of the course training skills is set to follow in the next few months.
“I’ve poured over six years of experience in teaching sidemount diving courses into these videos,” said Steve. “I’m very excited and confident these online training videos will really raise the bar and take sidemount training to a whole new level. The initial uptake and feedback so far has been outstanding,” he continued.
“One of the reasons I decided to make these highly detailed training videos and make them available online was because I wanted to offer a reasonably low cost option to get access to this level of instruction. One of the things that’s so great about doing it this way is the videos can be kept for future reference as you continue to learn.”
Steve has also released a promotional video which includes short previews from each part of the online training course, which you can watch here:
