Countdown to ScubaFest Anglesey 2014 is on
Have you booked your accommodation for this year’s Anglesey ScubaFest? You can still take advantage of the ScubaFest package, which includes two nights camping (Friday 15th August & Saturday 16th August 2014) plus breakfast for £36.
Organised by the UK’s Scuba Industry Trade Association (SITA), ScubaFest will be based at Anglesey Outdoors Centre so that divers can make the most of the fantastic north Wales coastline.
Camping at Anglesey Outdoors means you will be in the hub of ScubaFest for the evening socialising and activities and be in easy access of the diving that will be going on over the whole weekend.
Dive clubs can also park their RIBs at the campsite.
Over the ScubaFest Anglesey weekend there will be a host of diving and topside activities, with clubs’ own RIB diving as well as shore diving and charter RIBs, with places still available to book online here.
Amongst the other activities on offer there will be the annual Splash In photo competition, the chance to test out the latest kit from a range of suppliers, including Apeks Aqua Lung, Hollis, Mares and Oceanic. There will be try dives as well as the chance to try out sidemount diving with Gary Dallas. PADI will be offering pool diving, SSI will be running static freediving workshops and BSAC will also be there, with free BSAC Beachcomber sessions plus Bite-Back’s Hacked Off! campaign in the BSAC information tent down on Porth Dafarch beach over the weekend.
There will also be a curry night on the Friday as well as the return of the hogroast on Saturday night, with live bands to round off each day.
