Earlier this year The London International Dive Show established a unique point of access for newcomers to diving to get a first taste of the sport.
And, located alongside four other major outdoor leisure events at ExCeL next February, LIDS 2015 will again be bridging the way into scuba for those yet to experience the thrill of the underwater world.
Taking place before serious 2015 UK diving gets under way, the show will of course also provide the perfect pathway into the new season for established divers.
Gear choice will be high on the agenda, as will travel planning and skills’ refreshing and development. And for the increasing tide of divers now dedicated to creating images under water opportunities will abound.
The best in the underwater photo and video business will be sharing their expertise through talks, clinics and one-to-one advice in the PhotoZone. And LIDS will also be marking the launch of the prestigious Underwater Photographer of the Year London competition with awards, analysis and a special display of the top images.
In-hall attractions will include two try-dive pools, four in-hall stages, galleries, new-product displays, dedicated travel and training zones, and competitions.
The 2015 London International Dive Show takes place over the weekend of 14/15 February alongside The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show, the Triathlon Show: London, The London Bike Show and the MCN Motorcycle Show.
There will be direct access via cross-over points between the LIDS show hall and the Triathlon/Adventure-Travel/Bike halls, and the events will be promoted with reciprocal ticket offers.
Advance tickets cost just £9.50 instead of £13.50 on the door, and can be purchased here.
