Apneists UK’s next AIDA pool Freediving competition to take place in April

The next AIDA pool Freediving competition held by Apneists UK will be on the 10th April, 2016 at Wright Robinson College pool in Greater Manchester. It will be the 7th Great Northern event and will incorporate the UK BFA National pool championships. Entries are now open, and applications are being taken here.

As well as beginner courses (which you can find info on here) Steve Millard of Apneists UK runs several courses to assist athletes on the run up to the competition and beyond, and regular coaching opportunities for athletes wanting to work to medium and long term goals. These courses have produced the backbone of the safety crews in the competition, and many podium places and National record holders across the disciplines.
