Description: Scuba diving Manado Bay, Bangka Island and the Lembeh Strait in North Sulawesi - Indonesia offers some of the best muck diving in the world. This video is a compilation of all 3 destinations and shows some of the muck diving highlights. This is only a tip of the ice berg and mostly all very common critters. There are many more & rare critters out there but those I'll save for a next video. North Sulawesi has a very high biodiversity beneath the surface, one of the highest of all oceans around the world. Part of this diversity are the amazing muck diving sites that can be found along the whole coastline of North Sulawesi and on some of the offshore islands. The most famous muck diving destination is of course the Lembeh Strait, dubbed the "Muck diving capitol of the world". Scuba divers from all over the world come here to experience the weird & bizarre critters that call Lembeh home. But on the opposite side of North Sulawesi is another amazing muck diving destination. Manado Bay is home to some critter filled muck sites that easily can compete with Lembeh. Shallow, black but also white sandy bottoms and seagrass make the perfect habitat for these critter gems. Bangka Island to the north and Cape Pulisan also offer a few wonderful muck diving sites.
