Welcome to the Monthly Scubaverse Underwater Video Contest!
Each month, a winning video will be chosen from your entries by Scubaverse.com’s Editor-at-Large and resident underwater videography expert, Jeff Goodman. Jeff will give his views on a selection of the submitted videos, offer hints, tips and advice in an effort to help you improve your underwater videography skills, and will pick his favourite video as the contest's winner. The winning video will be added to the Underwater Video Contest Winners' Gallery, and will also be displayed on the homepage of Scubaverse.com. In addition to this, the person who submitted the winning video will receive a free digital copy of Jeff's book ‘A Guide To Underwater Wildlife Video & Editing’.
Each contestant can upload as many as 3 videos per contest. Please note that your entries will not be visible until they have been approved by our Administrator, which could take up to 24 hours.
Scubaverse.com’s Video of the Year
Each month's winning film is automatically entered into Scubaverse.com’s Video of the Contest – and if you win Video of the Year, you’ll be the lucky owner of a SeaLife Reefmaster 4K Action Camera!
Experience unparalleled ease-of-use with the ReefMaster RM-4K, featuring a pocket-sized design with a 14 megapixel Panasonic® CMOS image sensor and ultra-high definition 4K video. The compact, portable design ensures you can take the ReefMaster anywhere. The built-in fisheye lens allows you to closely approach your subject while still keeping everything in the picture. With SeaLife’s know-how in underwater lighting, you’ll easily be able to pair your RM-4K with a variety of Sea Dragon Photo/Video lights for any underwater scene or situation.
Contest Terms & Conditions
By entering Scubaverse.com’s Underwater Video Contest you agree to receive further information from Scubaverse and the Contest’s Sponsors, Scubapro and SeaLife (from which you can opt out of following initial contact from any party at any time). Only three videos per Contest can be entered by any one videographer. Videos must not be taken in aquariums, or of captive animals in any situation. If the judges think the animal has been distressed or moved from its natural habitat, the video will be disqualified. Videos entered into Scubaverse.com’s Underwater Video Contest will be used to promote the monthly Contest and the annual Contest royalty free; copyright will however remain with the videographer. All videos must be the work of the videographer entering. Entry is limited to residents of the UK or the EU with a minimum age of 18 years. The judges’ decision is final.
Thank you and good luck!
