Description: Shaab Abu Ramada is located in the south of Hurghada. By boat you can reach this dive site in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is a fantastic dive site. The amount of fish you will see here during one single dive will no doubt amaze you. This place is famous for its huge amount and variety of soft and hard corals with dominance of brain corals, the largest and most beautiful in the region. Hence the nickname Aquarium The small oval shaped reef with sand ground in a depth of 12-15m. In the east 2 coral blocks you can find and a beautiful coral garden; a perfect spot to start your dive. If you are lucky the boat will moor at the east end of the reef, otherwise you will have to swim along the not so interesting south side. Take your time and cruise through this dramatic under water landscape. The feeling of being on a different planet is not far away. You have the chance to see small white tip reef sharks, eagle rays or leopard sharks there, Schools of bannerfish and butterflyfish, surgeonfish, large moray eels and triggerfish live here. Also look for butterfly fish, yellow goatfish, sweet lips and barakudas often in large schools. Morays, jackfish, crocodilefish, stonefish, and occasionally turtles, and dolphins.
