Valstech launch LenzO Kickstarter Campaign
It’s fair to say that the Scubaverse team were blown away by the Lenzo underwater housing for the iPhone 6, 6S and 7 when it was unveiled at DEMA back in November. Both of our underwater imaging teams were given a Lenzo to review by the housing’s manufacturer, Valstech. Now those reviews are in (you can watch Jeff’s video review of the LenzO here and read Nick and Caroline’s S.U.P.E.R. review here), and the verdict from both teams is enormously positive.
Valstech was co-founded by underwater housing pioneer Valentins Ranetkins (founder of well-known underwater housing manufacturing companies Amphibico and Aquatica) and five-time Emmy Award-winning underwater cinematographer Anthony Lenzo. Over the past year, ValsTech has produced a small quantity of LenzO’s for the iPhone 6 and the 6s so they could receive feedback, improve features, and increase durability. Now that the company is ready to move forward with the latest and best version of its underwater housing technology, it has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise enough funds to go into full production of this innovative and exciting product.
With any Kickstarter campaign there are of course perks on offer for backers. If you would like more details and would like to help Val and Anthony make the LenzO a reality, head over to www.kickstarter.com/projects/lenzo/lenzo-the-future-of-underwater-iphone-imaging now and pledge some cash.
