Subgear’s Definition Range – A new Generation
The Definition has become one of Subgear’s most sought after products since its introduction in 1999. Over the last 15 years this classic has moved with the times, becoming more comfortable, fashionable and offering more features than ever. With the striking new colours, the wetsuits are unmistakeable.
Definition IR7: eye-catching design, maximum comfort, ideal for moderate waters
The 7mm Definition steamer made with warm and cozy Titanium Plush neoprene offers first-rate protection in temperate regions. It is named after it’s Infrared fleece inner lining, which reflects body heat, increasing insulation. The Ultraspan inserts on the chest and the highly flexible but abrasion resistant Stretchtec sides work to reduce water circulation. The 3D cut guarantees the best possible fit.
The Spine pad, the thick wrist and ankle seals as well as the zip on the base of the neck contribute towards the outstanding level of comfort. Features like the I-Grip and the Guard Tec are the icing on the cake. The black and blue colour scheme gives it a pure and cool feel.
Every diver will find their second skin with a choice of 22 sizes. For added warmth the 6.5mm vest can be worn with the IR7.
Definition IR5: stylish and extraordinarily comfy, excellent for mid-warm waters
The Definition IR5 has the same advantages as the IR7 but, as the name gives away, this is a 5mm wetsuit. The men’s version with a simple but tasteful white design looks both sporty and elegant. The contrast of black neoprene and pink detail makes the ladies 5mm irresistible. Every diver will find their second skin with a choice of 22 sizes. For added warmth the 6.5mm vest can be worn with the IR5.
Definition 3: modern design, unique fit, perfect for the tropics
The 3mm wetsuit is constructed of Flex Tech and Soft Neoprene but still manages to keep the distinct 3D-cut which provides an exceptional level of comfort. Zips on the back, neck, wrists and ankles make it incredibly easy to get on and off. Divers just need to try this out once to become loyal Definition divers for life.
The Definition 3 is available in male sizes only. For warmer waters Subgear’s chic Element 3mm is the perfect wetsuit for female divers.
Subgear’s Unique Body Map System
All wetsuits have a special cut and an innovative use of material which take in to account the different needs and strains of each individual body. Best fit, a high level of comfort and optimal insulation are guaranteed.
Only X-Foam with Subgear
X-foam is the only neoprene formulation that complies with the very strict P.A.H. (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) test requirements. Subgear’s X-foam has been tested by the TÜV Rheinland. The P.A.H values were way below the recommended guidelines.
The new look Definition Range is now available at authorised Subgear dealers.
