Spiegel Grove Exhibit on display at the History of Diving Museum

Published

on

The History of Diving Museum has unveiled a new exhibit honoring the USS Spiegel Grove, giving divers the opportunity to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its sinking and it becoming a world-known artificial reef.

For a limited time, artifacts will be on display that highlight those who served on this great ship, missions it participated in, the efforts preparing her for sinking and the environmental impact she’s had on the area. See the 4th Name Plaque of Lifetime Medallion holders in addition to the special Bridge Plaque before they are installed on the ship. Individual and Keepsake Commemorative Medallion sets are available in the Museum Store. Help support this exhibit and get your medallions today.

You can also take part in special events. Join the History of Diving Museum May 17th and 18th for presentations, Spiegel dives and celebrations. Witness the installation of the plaques and participate in Fish Surveys. For more information visit History of Diving Museum, Upper Keys Artificial Reef Foundation and Key Largo Chamber.
