ScubaCaribe, one of the most established dive and watersports operations in the Caribbean with more than 25 years of experience in the industry, are launching some special offers to celebrate the fourth annual PADI Women’s Dive Day on July 21st.
Certified diving girls who purchase a single dive will get a second one for free. Newbies can discover scuba diving together with their friend or partner, as they receive the second PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience at no cost. Between July 1-21, bookings can be made by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and redeemed between July 21-31 at any of their locations in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica, Aruba, Costa Rica and Panama, and until July 25 in Cancun / Mexico.
PADI Women’s Dive Day was first introduced in 2015, aiming to “get as many women as possible, at every level diving on the same day in order to build awareness and interest for the sport” and it has grown steadily ever since. Last year, over 800 events took place in 84 countries. ScubaCaribe is one of those hosts actively supporting female divers on their way to become strong, independent, certified divers.
While diving is still a male-dominated sport, ScubaCaribe encourages and supports more women to experience the underwater world to help establish a balance between the genders. PADI AmbassaDiver Rocio Gajon says: “Women in diving are essential; we are strong, nurturing, and inclusive. We are the glue to society.”
The events carried out by ScubaCaribe will provide opportunities for female divers to get connected to other female divers, have fruitful conversations and become part of a growing female diving community.
