Safe Under the Sea Competition is Accepting Entries!
The Underwater Photography Guide is hosting a special competition to bring people together, encourage artistic expression, and raise money to help fight Coronavirus…
The Underwater Photography Guide is proud to announce that it is accepting entries for a special Ocean Art Safe Under the Sea Underwater Photo Competition. The contest was created as a way to bring our global dive community together in lieu of the coronavirus pandemic. The full Ocean Art 2020 competition will open in Autumn of this year – “Safe Under the Sea” is an additional mid-year competition.
Times are tough, but perhaps now is the most opportune moment to self-reflect, learn, reminisce, edit photos, and support our extended human family. The Underwater Photography Guide has teamed up with Bluewater Photo and Travel to present a special edition of the prestigious underwater photography competition – Ocean Art: Safe Under the Sea.
The goal of this photo competition is to bring our global underwater photographic community together, provide an outlet for creative expression, and to raise money to help fight Covid-19 for the benefit of all. One quarter of all proceeds will be donated to the CDC Foundation and the WHO Covid-19 response fund
No industry has been hit harder by this economic downturn than the companies who service underwater photographers, including dive travel operators, travel agents, and underwater cameras stores. So let’s all do our part and support the industry that’s supported us in our exploration of our blue planet!
To enter the competition please visit the website by clicking here.
Photos must be submitted before the deadline of 23:59PM PST on June 30, 2020.
