Mehgan Heaney-Grier is an accomplished athlete, professional speaker, marine educator, expedition leader, and television personality. In 1996, Mehgan made history by establishing the first U.S. freedive record for both men and women, in the constant weight category. She holds a degree in Ecology Evolutionary Biology, and Anthropology, is one of the original inductees to the Women Divers Hall of Fame, and a Fellow in The Explorers Club. Mehgan has performed underwater stunts for Hollywood films and has been featured in numerous television shows and publications worldwide. Mehgan is also a mom, mentor, and long-time conservationist dedicated to raising awareness and empowering the next generation of ocean stewards to engage and tackle the critical issues facing our oceans today.
