NAUI Scuba Instructor gains top award

National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) Scuba Instructor, Simon Lodge was presented with an Outstanding Service Award at the Diving Equipment & Marketing Association Show (DEMA) 2019 in Florida.

Simon has been a key member of NAUI Worldwide for over 16 years and is a Course Director Trainer and Instructor Trainer for technical diving.  He currently holds the position as NAUI’s Southern UK Representative.

Simon said: “It is a huge honour to receive such an award and to be amongst others who have worked tirelessly within NAUI Worldwide”. 

NAUI’s Director of Sales and Business Development, Jack Snively, quoted: “Simon is a valued member of our organization and it is with great pleasure that we honor him for his many years of hard work and dedicated service with this award.”

The NAUI Outstanding Service Award is presented to NAUI members who distinguish themselves for service provided to the association. Their service to NAUI and its mission of dive safety through education can be on a local, regional, national, or international level. This is NAUI’s oldest award, established in 1975.
