NAUI names new officers to Board of Directors for 2020
NAUI Worldwide kicked off 2020 by holding its first Board of Director’s meeting. In this meeting, the Board voted for its officers for 2020.
The officers include Michael Feld as Chairman, Danny Grizzard as Vice Chairman, Barry Moore as Treasurer, and Hanalie Burger as Secretary.
On the election as Chairman, Michael Feld said:
“We’re looking forward to a great year in 2020. It’s a great time to be NAUI and an honor to be chairman of this great organization for our 60th anniversary year. We continue to enhance our technology platforms to serve members, affiliates and divers, and our expanded course offerings provide a huge menu of ways to enjoy this sport, all with the top-quality training NAUI has been known for since 1960.”
The Board would like to thank Danny Grizzard, whose work as Chairman in 2019 played a huge role in moving NAUI forward last year. The Board also wants to thank outgoing board members, Cheryl Thacker, who served as Secretary for the Board in 2019 and Simon Yu for their contributions to NAUI.
The next Board of Directors meetings are scheduled for the first week of February.
