An additional 28 countries have been added to an already existing list of 46 nationalities who are able to obtain a tourist visa electronically and also upon arrival at any of the Egypt’s ports, making the total number 74 nationalities.

Covid Vaccination certificate allows visitors to enter Egypt without PCR test

Passengers arriving in Egypt should present their vaccine certification proving that they are fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks before traveling. Therefore, 14 days should have passed from the second dose of the vaccine (a 2-dose series).

As for the vaccine “Johnson and Johnson”; passengers can travel after the first dose. The vaccine certificate should be legally authorized by the passengers’ governments and having a QR code. This certification should be presented in the way how it was issued; in a good condition, not being torn, or cut, and without any added hand editing on it.

The passengers arriving from the counties that are affected by the variants of the Virus from the following countries will have additional procedures besides showing the Vaccination certification. These countries include India, Siri-Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Myanmar, Brazil, Greece, and Latin America. The passengers, in this case, have to do the test “ID NOW COVID 19”at the airport. If they tested positive; a PCR test should be made, and the passenger should be isolated in a hospital.

As for the countries that are not affected by the variants of the virus from all the previously mentioned countries will only have to show their Vaccination certificate.
