Last chance to register for the Northern Underwater Photography Group’s Annual Splash-In
The Northern Underwater Photography Group will host its annual splash-in competition this coming Saturday in Anglesey.
On Saturday 15th August underwater photographers are invited to join in this one off competition. To do so you must register by emailing info@nupg.org.uk by midnight tomorrow (Thursday 13th August).
Entrants then need to take photos, in the sea, in North Wales, on Saturday, and get them to the Scubafest event at the Anglesey Outdoor Centre by 18:30pm. A £5 entry fee is applicable and you can enter 4 images, with a max of 2 in any single category, into Compact Camera Macro; Compact Camera Wide Angle; System Camera Macro & System Camera Wide Angle. Everyone is then invited to judge the entries from 8pm and trophies will be awarded to the winners.
This is a great competition to get involved in, with all photographers encountering the same conditions on the day and using their skills to get the best image possible. Last year, this was the best attended splash-in competition in the UK, with lots of entrants, and a packed room for the judging in the evening.
The event is sponsored by Apeks, Dive Quest, DiveLife, Equator Diving, Frogfish Photography, Frogsborn, INON UK, Mares, Nauticam UK, and Scubaverse.
