Ikelite Announces Housing for Nikon D5300 Camera
Nikon’s D5300 has earned the latest spot in Ikelite’s line of DSLR housings thanks to features like its hi-res sensor and improved video mode, which delivers high quality 1080/60p HD video. The D5300 is also Nikon’s first DSLR to include buzz-worthy features such as built-in Wi-Fi and GPS.
Ikelite’s housing does more than waterproof your camera; it actually improves your photos by utilizing proprietary TTL circuitry. This circuitry allows for true Nikon TTL data communication between the camera and any Ikelite DS-series strobe, providing the most accurate exposure possible. As an added bonus, you will get more shots per charge as you aren’t required to rely on the camera’s flash to trigger your strobes. You can even tweak your TTL exposure or switch to full manual control without ever taking your hand off the housing.
Full flash control isn’t the only thing at your fingertips. Access all important camera functions via a series of thoughtfully placed, heavy-duty mechanical controls. Enjoy full creative functionality up to 200 ft (60m) below the surface.
Take your D5300 Housing on a worry-free dive. Ikelite’s extremely strong yet lightweight enclosure allows you to visually inspect the o-ring seals for added assurance. The housing’s polycarbonate construction is also fundamentally corrosion-resistant for easy maintenance, year after year.
Superior handling, balance, and easy attachment of external lighting won’t cost extra. Every Ikelite DSLR housing includes a Tray with Dual Quick Release Handles, and the D5300 is no exception.
