Go to the Philippines with Dr Alex Tattersall for another one of Oonas Divers’ Underwater Photographic Workshops
Places are going fast to join Oonas Divers’ Underwater Photography Workshop on the 7th – 18th March next year with the well known award winning underwater photographer Dr Alex Tattersall. Alex is the founder of Underwater Visions/Nauticam UK and this is a rare opportunity to join him on his trip to the Philippines.
This workshop is designed for moderately experienced UW photographers and, alongside the
exploration of ‘technical’ areas of photography such as exposures, compositions, and camera settings, will impart how a greater understanding and sensitivity to the behaviour of marine life can enable anyone to take award winning photos.
The workshop will take place at Atlantis Resort, Puerto Galera. Puerto Galera is a coastal town that is well known among tourists for its numerous pocket beaches and many snorkeling and Scuba diving spots. The area was designated a Man and Biosphere Reserve of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1973 and has some of the most diverse coral reef diving in Asia. The marine environment has benefited in recent years from tourists due to the reduction in the numbers of fishermen in the area, as they gain higher revenue from tourism.
A place on the trip cost £1,750, and includes transfers, 10 nights full board in twin share standard room and 9 days of diving with up to 5 scheduled dives per day, but excludes flights (flights approx. £600 – £1000).
