Get ready for Action with Exposure Marine Action Lights
New players in scuba equipment, Exposure Marine, are lighting up the murky depths of British lakes and seas with their all new range of Action LED dive torches.
Exposure already have a pretty impressive reputation amongst the vast number of cyclists around the UK for robust, reliable and high quality lights. Engineered and manufactured in Britain from aerospace aluminium coated in corrosion-resistant marine grade anodising, these USB-rechargeable underwater lights boast an impressive array of features and options to suit all diving needs and budgets; 100m depth rating, colour-coded LED battery level indicator, 3 tap or push button adjustable beam strengths, emergency strobe and SOS modes, external magnetic and gold plated charging connector, and thanks to intelligent thermal management they can be used in or out of the water. Each light is supplied in a rugged soft-shell case with USB charging cable and lanyard.
ACTION 1-9
This powerful little light looks every bit the pocket torch but packs a punch with its 1000 lumen LED, a focused 9 degree spot beam and up to 6hr run time. Power enough for a weekend’s diving. £179.95
ACTION 1-9+
And on the subject of power – should you desire more of it, and let’s face it, who doesn’t, the 1-9+ gives you triple the battery and triple the burn time – 4 hours at full power or 16 at low power. The extra batteries are accommodated in a larger casing but with the same 1000 lumen, 9 degree spot as the 1-9. £229.95
ACTION 1-16
Just like the 1-9, the 1-16 light features up to 6hrs burn time and a fast 3hr recharging time. Slightly shorter than the 1-9 but in the same anodised case, the 1-16 features a smaller lamp head containing a 16 degree LED. £179.95
ACTION 1-100
This compact video light is the perfect companion for GoPro lovers, with its 100 degree beam angle, 1000 lumen LED and up to 6 hours burn time. With Exposure’s unique ergonomic hand-mount (sold separately) carrying both the light and camera it’s now even easier to get clear and bright underwater footage to be proud of. £179.95
ACTION 3
Moving things up another gear we come to the ACTION 3-20 and 3-100. Housed in the same larger body as the 9+ this light features 3 LEDs with a 20 or 100 degree wide beam video head. More LEDs means a 2500 lumen output, 60 minutes full burn or 4 hours on low power. A hand mount is provided with the 3-20 and a ball mount with the 3-100 to fit to most standard video rigs. An OLED screen on each displays the current mode and your remaining runtime in hours and minutes. £349.95
Additional accessories available include:
GoPro Mount Adapter – Utilise any existing GoPro mount to securely attach an Action1 light.
Ergonomic Hand Mount – To securely and comfortably mount either the Action1 or Action3 models.
1” Ball Mount – To allow compatibility with standard photographic setups ball adapters can mount both the Action1 or Action3 models.

Gear Showcase: The Nomad Ray Sidemount System from Dive Rite
Dive Rite was founded in 1984 by technical divers and cave explorers with the goal to make the very best scuba diving equipment available. Gear that can be trusted on the most extreme dives and exceed expectations in any environment: reef, wreck, cave, or quarry.
The Nomad Ray is the product of years of design, development, field testing, and feedback from some of the world’s leading sidemount divers and instructors.
The Nomad Ray is available in black, blue, OD green, pink, or red. If you happen to find yourself in a tight spot, the Ray’s abrasion-resistant “skid plate” will have your back: providing wear protection exactly where it’s needed the most. SuperFabric® is a fast drying, highly durable, and slash-resistant material. The Nomad Ray Sidemount System is ready to perform in the toughest diving environments.
The Nomad Ray can be easily adjusted to comfortably fit all body types. The independently adjustable harness design can be quickly set up for any diver. Shoulder and waist webbing can be replaced independently if damaged or trimmed too short. The Nomad Ray uses a fast, tool-free bungee length adjustment system. Simply pull to the desired length, tie a single overhand knot, and tuck the excess into the integrated sleeve. A quick-adjust belly band with a custom moulded bungee hook keeps the wing wrapped snugly around the diver’s body.
A zipper on the inside of the Nomad Ray wing allows for access to three integrated weight pockets capable of holding up to five pounds of each of hard or soft weight.
