The Shark Trust team were planning to host this event at the Royal Geographical Society in London. But due to COVID-19, and the changing rules and advice, they’ve decided to run this event virtually.
What’s the Plan?
Sharks are some of the most stunning and characteristic predators in our oceans. Over 1000 species of sharks and rays inhabit the ocean’s diverse environments. Encountering the world’s most spectacular species can involve epic journeys. Or simply a trip to the UK coast.
Back for its second year, the Shark Trust invites you to join them – online – for an evening celebration of sharks.
They are thrilled to announce the following guest speakers will be joining them:
- Paul Rose (TV Presenter & Radio Broadcaster) – Paul is a man on the front line of exploration. One of the world’s most experienced divers, field scientists and polar experts. Paul helps scientists unlock and communicate global mysteries in the most remote and challenging regions of the planet.
- Nick & Caroline Robertson-Brown (Frogfish Photography and Scubaverse) – Nick and Caroline are a husband and wife team of underwater photographers, photo-journalists and authors. They’re multi-award winning photographers, have three published books, and feature regularly in the diving, wildlife and international press.
The speakers will fill the evening with their stories of discovery and connection, as well as their love for this fascinating family of marine animals.
This year, you’ll also get the opportunity to hear more about the Shark Trust and what they do. And they’ll be announcing their latest commercial supporter SHARK SUPs.
To celebrate this partnership, and the launch of their SUPs, they’ve kindly donated one of their all-round boards for us to give away!!
When you buy a ticket for this event you’ll automatically be entered into a prize draw. But, please note we can only send the prize to an address in the UK or EU.
For the Love of Sharks will start at 7pm on Friday 25 September.
Once you’ve booked your ticket, you’ll receive an email receipt with a link. Please use this link to access the event, which will be hosted on Zoom.
