Diver Group’s David Eaton dies

Diver Group yesterday announced the sad news that DIVER Magazine’s Advertising Production Manager David Eaton has died.

David had been diagnosed with cancer and he passed away peacefully in hospital on 3 April aged 56.

David had worked for DIVER magazine for more than 25 years and was a qualified diver and well-known figure in the diving industry. He was the youngest son of Bernard Eaton, the co-founder of the magazine in the 1960s, and his elder brother Nigel is DIVER’s publisher.

David, who lived in Twickenham, UK, is survived by his wife Carol, his son Harry and his daughter Kate. He will be remembered by many as a cheerful and lovely man. The Scubaverse Team send their deepest condolences to all at the DIVER Group, and to David’s many friends and his family on his early passing. RIP David Eaton.
